Jaynisha will be leading a project on inclusive economies under the Research and Policy Programme. Her work focuses on how justice and socioeconomics can reduce inequality in post-conflict States.

Jaynisha holds an Honours degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) from the University of Cape Town (UCT). She is expected to graduate with a Masters in PPE from UCT in March 2020.

Her Masters research focuses on the prospects for NGOs to assist the State with the implementation of anti-human trafficking policy.

Prior to joining IJR, Jaynisha worked in counter-human trafficking at an international organisation. From there she lead data & analytics for the National Human Trafficking Hotline.
