Call for Proposals: External Evaluation of IJR
The Institute for Justice and Reconciliation (IJR), with support from Sida, invites proposals from experienced service providers for the external evaluation of its 2021–2025 programmes.
The evaluation will assess IJR’s impact, effectiveness, efficiency, relevance, and sustainability, aligned to OECD/DAC criteria, and inform its 2026–2030 strategic direction. The evaluation will assess the effectiveness of IJR’s key programmes, including public opinion research for reconciliation and governance, community-driven dialogue for social inclusion, peacebuilding and transitional justice interventions across Africa, women’s leadership in peace processes, and support for a fair and inclusive Just Energy Transition.
Applicants must have at least 10 years’ experience in evaluating peacebuilding and governance initiatives, expertise in both qualitative and quantitative methods, and familiarity with Sida-funded projects.
The evaluation will take place between May and July 2025.
The deadline for proposal submissions is 2 May 2025.
